Priene
Didyma, Miletus and Priene are ancient Ionian Greek settlements, they are also the best preserved Ionian settlements. Priene was one of the most active ports of the Ionian league - circa 300 BC, it no longer borders the sea. The Romans changed little in this city.
Ionian capital similar to those of the previous image, the capital completes the top of the column.. The Greek classical capitals are Doric, Ionic and Corinthian. Roman architecture added two additional capitals: Tuscan and Composite.
